Hi, my name is Will Durness. Even if you're not an outdoor enthusiast, these lessons demonstrate skills, like tying knots, that can apply to home and work situations. For wilderness adventurers, navigational GPS devices are in vogue, but it's important to have map & compass skills if the batteries die or satellites are blocked. In a survival situation in the wild, or at home if a natural disaster strikes, it's vital to have a few water, fire, and shelter skills.
